CHAPTER 12

When Khushi was in College 1^st year and Arnav in college 3^rd year

{Okay this is a story turning update}

The day of competition came, and every partners were bucking up to win the challenge, it has been three day but still Khushi was worried about Arnav's obsessive behavior, she was not worried for her but she was worried for him, his temper always gets best of him, she was afraid that Arnav would hurt himself in this process.

"Khushi we need to talk" Natasha came in front of Khushi halting her thoughts

"Uh... oh hi Natasha, sorry I didn't notice you, yes tell me how can I help you?" Khushi asked but seeing Natasha teary eyes she came closer to her "Natasha what happened, why are you crying?" 

"Khushi you are my friend, you knew NK likes me but still you said yes to be his partner, when I wanted him to..." Natasha sobbed

"Wanted him to..." Khushi teased

"Khushi I like him, will you help me" Natasha said desperately

Khushi laughed out loud

"GOTCHA" NK came there out of the blue making Natasha jump back

"Thanks Khushi, you are my real friend" NK said with his charming smile

"What do you mean?" Natasha asked confused

"Natasha we both have planned all this, to get you jealous, so that you confess your feelings, and yes I am not his partner, you are his partner, possessive girl" Khushi teased Natasha making her blush

"You don't know Khushi how I was feeling when I heard that NK asked you to be his partner, I was so upset" Natasha said looking down

"Why upset when you know I love you" NK asked as he side hugged her

"You won't know this feeling till you see me with someone else, that pain is unbearable, and that urge to kill the third person became so heavy that you became blind with love and rage" Natasha said and NK hugged her

"Okay now let's get ready, we have to win, and ya I love you" NK said

"I love you too" Natasha blushed

"See you in a minute Khushi" NK said and dragged Natasha away, Khushi kept standing there playing Natasha's word in her mind

You won't know this feeling till you see me with someone else, that pain is unbearable, and that urge to kill the third person became so heavy that you became blind with love and rage

"Is that Arnav feels when he sees me with someone else, did I over-react yesterday, she is right I never saw him with any other girl, so how would I know this feelings" Khushi said to herself

Khushi tried to imagine Arnav hugging some girl, her heart clenched when she imagined that, immediately she imagined herself kissing him and she felt better

"Thinking about me" Arnav's husky voice came near her ear and without thinking she turned, grabbed his shoulder, and kissed his lips. Arnav stumbled a little but grasped her waist to balance them, as she broke apart 

"Wow, that was... are you OK" Arnav asked

"I love you and I really love you, you won't hug anyone else other than me" Khushi blabbered

"Baby are you nervous for our performance then don't worry we will rock as no one can compete our chemistry" Arnav winked playfully

Khushi nodded and looked around and saw everyone looking at them with wide eyes

Oh shit I kissed him in front of everyone Khushi thought

"So Miss wanton Gupta let's get ready for the performance, shall we" Arnav asked

"You go, I am coming" Khushi said and blushed

Arnav nodded giving her tiny waist a squeeze with a dark passionate look on his face, Khushi shivered a little with anticipation

"Later" his word held so much intensity and promise that Khushi was almost ready to give up the competition and beg him to take her home,

"That can't be possible, but ya I will surely take you home" Arnav teased and Khushi sulked

"NK you said that you told Khushi that you will tell Arnav everything about the plan so I think you should go and tell him, it won't look pleasant if he get know from somewhere else" Natasha said

"I won't tell him" NK refused

"What... NK you promised her, she is your friend, and if Arnav see the list where your and Khushi's name is written as partner, he will kill you" Natasha said

"I am her friend and I want well for her, I don't think he is good for her, and what I should tell him, when there is nothing to say, that list is fake" NK said

"But NK still you promised her, go and tell him that how you both planned it to make me jealous" Natasha tried again

"I don't see the point, when everything is sorted, then there is no need to go and blabber in front of him" NK said

"You are incorrigible" Natasha pouted

"Khushi deserves better" NK argued

"No, Arnav loves her madly" Natasha argued back

 "And how do you know" NK asked

"Anyone can tell that you hopeless man" she shouted

They kept bickering, missing the figure behind the door

 Khushi deserves better

Arnav clenched his jaw

NK was going towards washroom when a hand grabbed his collar and threw him down, NK was terrified, and without looking anywhere he started shouting

"Help anyone, please here is a ghost trying to kill me, help, please help" NK kept kicking in here closing his eyes

"SHUT UP" Arnav roared  

NK looked up at Arnav who was standing in front of him, with red eyes, clenched jaw, and fists, his demeanor tensed, in sort NK knew he was gone, Arnav bent and took his collar and dragged him up

"What did you say that I don't deserve her, who are you to say that, do you even know what she is to me, do you even know how much I love her, do you even know that I don't know how to live without her, do you even know I don't like to take my name without her name accompanying mine, do you even know I don't know to smile without her, do you know I don't know how to function without her, you know nothing" Arnav left him and turned to go but stopped and turned again "She is mine" 

Arnav started going when NK's voice stopped her

"You don't deserve her Arnav Singh Raizada, do you think she likes staying terrified with you always around, your over possessiveness terrifies her, and if you keep doing this her future will be dark, what are you, you have nothing of your own, you are a son of a famous and rich businessman, that's it, you don't have much quality, you are yourself living in money of your father, what the hell is your worth, you don't love her, you terrified that girl, if you really love her than leave her and let her live her life" NK screamed all this word without seeing Arnav who was pale

I terrify her Arnav paled more

"Leave her if you love her" NK shouted

"I can't" Arnav said and went from there leaving NK standing behind

"I did the right thing" NK said proudly to himself, he was about to turn around when he was slapped across his face, he looked at the person shocked

"I hate you NK, I was so wrong to love a person like you" Natasha was sobbing

"Natasha..."

"No, stop, what the hell do you know about their love, what the hell do you know about jealousy, scratch that what the hell do you know about love" Natasha screamed "Do you want to know about the feeling, let me show you then"

She went towards right and entered the men washroom, NK was terrified seeing his girlfriend entering men washroom, so to stop her he ran behind her

But as he entered his leg paralyzed, he saw her hugging a guy who was looking shocked and immovable, a pain like nothing before torn the inside of NK, a blind rage took over him, and he strode to them, taking her elbow he pulled her out the guy's embrace and dragged her out, pushing her onto the wall he screamed

"What the hell do you think you are doing?"

 "I will do whatever I want what will you do?" Natasha poked him more

"I will kill you and all the bustards who dared to look at you" NK said

"Still you said those words to Arnav, making him feel so helpless, Khushi is my friend, and if Arnav left her believing your word that he terrifies her then I will finish our relation too" Natasha said

Khushi was ready, giving her look last touch-up, she smiled seeing her reflection

"Arnav will like it" she murmured to herself "I have to say sorry to him for last night, now I understand him, he loves me so much, and yes he did the right thing by beating that bad guy" she smiled "Today I will show him, how much I love him, I will declare that in front of everyone" she frowned "But where is he"

She was about to go to find him when she saw him standing leaning on the door, she smiled at him and he looked down, frowning she went near him and palmed his face

"Arnav..."

"Do I terrify you Khushi" He asked without meeting her eyes

"Arnav, why are you asking this?" Khushi asked taken back by his bizarre question and suddenly felt guilty saying all those awful things to him last night

"No nothing, next is our performance" Arnav diverted the topic, she closely looked Arnav, he was looking different, and he was looking somehow... Vulnerable

"NK and Natasha" Khushi asked confused

"They backed out" Arnav said

"What" Khushi looked up surprised?
